Grade 6s Rocklands Camp

I'll be telling you about our grade 6 camp, so let's start.

Cabins

First thing when I got there I was thinking about our cabins. I was so nervous because the only other time we came to Rocklands was in Gr3 and the cabins looked very messy then.
I stepped in and then I saw our own bathroom with a toilet, basin and a shower.
I was sleeping on the bunkbed, and that night I was drinking Powerade on my bed and while I was sleeping the bottle fell over and my bed was soaking. I woke up and I felt something wet and smelly.
My friend, Luyolo was showering and while he was showering the lights went off because the light had daylight saving. So he showered In the dark that morning.

Group teams

Our group was called the Impalas and we had to make a warcry for our group.
Then we got on the stage and performed our warcry, and we actually copied the group name and group warcry from the previous camp. When we were done with our warcry everyone was booing us off the stage.

Extremely hard activities

Ok, so our groups hardest activity was when our group of 16 had to stand on one mat and flips it  over without getting off it. We basically just fitted on the mat. I have to admit, me and my group mates actually went off the mat a couple of times. It was so hard some of us thoughts of cheating.

Highlights
1. archery
2. Fuze ball
3. Soccer
4. Obstacle course
5. Food
